United States, 30th May 2026 — Andrew Farhat serves as Lead Pastor of St. John’s Church and School Denver, a Lutheran church and school focused on Gospel-centered teaching, Christian education, community outreach, Life Groups and mission partnerships. St. John’s was founded in 1880, and St. John’s School began in 1882. The ministry operates from Denver through its Wash Park campus and Highlands Campus, called Renewal Church.

The congregation’s work centers on preaching, teaching, family discipleship, Christian education, local outreach and renewed hope and life in Jesus Christ. Andrew Farhat’s leadership at St. John’s includes support for ministry across both campuses, where the church serves families, students and community members through in-person and online programming.

St. John’s currently operates 15 Life Groups in the Denver area. Its Early Learning Center through eighth-grade school serves more than 300 students each year in a Christian education environment. Renewal Church, the congregation’s Highlands Campus, was planted in 2018.

The church also partners with missions in 10 countries and reaches more than 500,000 people each year through in-person and online ministry. Its outreach includes local partnerships in Denver and international mission connections that support the congregation’s ministry focus. St. John’s Church and School Denver ministry continues to reflect the church’s emphasis on Gospel teaching, family discipleship, Christian education and service to the broader Denver community.

St. John’s history in Denver dates back more than a century. The church was founded in 1880, and its school began two years later as a one-room school. The congregation later planted churches throughout the region and supported ministries connected to education, outreach and community care.

Andrew Farhat received a Divine Call to St. John’s in 2018 and was installed as Lead Pastor in 2021. His background includes pastoral leadership, preaching, teaching and church-and-school ministry. He holds a Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Washington.
